Overview

The Revenue tab provides at-a-glance insights into your billing performance with charts and summary metrics.

Accessing Revenue

Tap the Revenue tab (third icon) in the bottom navigation.

Dashboard Metrics

Quick Stats

The top of the screen shows key metrics:
MetricDescription
TodayRevenue from claims paid today
This WeekLast 7 days of paid claims
This MonthCurrent month’s total

Trend Indicators

Each metric includes a trend indicator showing:
  • Increase from previous period
  • Decrease from previous period
  • Percentage change

Revenue Chart

The main chart visualizes your revenue over time:

Chart Types

  • Monthly View - Revenue by month
  • Pie Chart - Distribution by period

Interacting with Charts

  • Tap on data points to see exact values
  • Swipe to view different time periods
  • Pinch to zoom (on supported devices)

Time Range Selection

Adjust the time range displayed:
  1. Tap the time range selector
  2. Choose from:
    • Last 3 months
    • Last 6 months
    • Last 12 months
    • Custom range

Data Sources

Revenue data comes from:
  • Paid claims (from remittance advices)
  • Partially paid claims (partial amounts)
  • Does not include pending or rejected claims
Revenue updates when new remittance advices are received from the Ministry.

Understanding the Numbers

”Paid” vs “Billed”

  • Billed Amount - What you claimed
  • Paid Amount - What OHIP paid
  • Difference may be due to adjustments, rejections, or processing

Revenue Timing

Revenue reflects payment dates, not service dates. A service from January may appear in February’s revenue when the RA is received.

Refreshing Data

Pull down on the screen to refresh and load the latest revenue data.

Exporting Revenue Data

For detailed revenue reports and exports:
  • Use the web app’s Reports section
  • Excel exports available
  • More detailed breakdown by date, patient, code
