Introduction

IntelAGENT provides physician billing services for William Osler Health System, facilitating the submission and processing of physician billing for services provided to uninsured patients. Uninsured patients are those who do not fulfill the eligibility requirements for provincial/territorial health insurance or the interim Federal Health Program (IFHP).

How It Works

Physicians submit billing information for applicable services through the IntelAGENT mobile app. Claims are processed using OHIP Schedule of Benefits for Physician Services rates, and payments are made directly to physicians after review and validation by the hospital.

Submit Your Claim

Use the IntelAGENT mobile app to submit claims for services provided to uninsured patients. Enter patient details, service information, and billing codes.

Review and Validation

Each month, submitted claims are reviewed and validated. William Osler confirms accepted claims and processes a lump sum payment to IntelAGENT.

Receive Payment

Once funds are received from the hospital, IntelAGENT pays physician amounts net of agreed-upon fees within three (3) business days directly to your bank account on file.

Billing Cycle

A new billing cycle begins and ends with each calendar month. All claims submitted during a billing period are reviewed and validated by the end of the following month, and final payment is made to physicians approximately 45 days after the billing period closes.
